Jessica Stroup was born in Anderson, South Carolina. She spent her childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. A friend’s mother was a former Miss North Carolina and encouraged Jessica to pursue modeling.

Jessica is an American actress and model. Stroup is best known for her role as Erin Silver on the The CW TV Series, 90210 and for starring in such feature length films such as Prom Night and The Hills Have Eyes 2.

Over the years Jessica has appeared in numerous commercials, including spots for Honda, Velveeta and Target. Her most recognizable commercial appearance was as “the Dentyne Girl” in an advertisement for Dentyne Ice.

Jessica starred in Homecoming, a psychological thriller, alongside Mischa Barton and Matt Long, that was released July 2009.
